Most change communication happens too late, after decisions are made, when the goal shifts to explaining rather than preparing. I develop the communication strategies and plans that prepare people before change arrives and drive adoption after it lands: audience analysis, manager enablement, cascade planning, and role-specific messaging that explain what's different and why it matters.
Leadership and executive messaging
Leaders are asked to communicate constantly, often about things still in motion. I develop the messaging, talking points, and presentations that help leaders bring people along — and design how it gets delivered, whether that's an email, a video, a town hall, or a conversation a manager has with their team.
Building the communications function
Internal communications scope keeps expanding while teams stay flat. I build the infrastructure that makes communications repeatable instead of reactive: channel architecture, editorial standards and governance, intake and approval workflows, tiered communication frameworks, and measurement.

Communications get built reactively and rarely get examined. I assess what's working and what isn't through audience research, channel analysis, and engagement data — focus groups, manager interviews, pulse surveys — and deliver findings, recommendations, and a phased plan for what to change first.
Communications training and workshops
AI can produce polished communications in seconds. What it can't do is tell you whether they're any good. I train teams — comms professionals and the business partners who communicate without a comms team behind them — on audience, behavior, channel usage, and what good looks like.
